Barentzymes AS, a Norwegian biotechnology company (part of Fluenta holding) has signed a long term cooperation agreement with BioVentures Institute Sp. z o.o. concerning the development of enzymatic tools for waste utilization and environment pollution control.
Heterosphecia pahangensis is a Malaysian clearwing moth with striking bee-mimicking features: narrow, hyaline wings, bright bands on the abdomen and tufts of hair-like scales on the hind legs that resemble pollen baskets. It was found on a bank of a river flowing through primary rainforest in the Pahang state, Peninsular Malaysia. It was the first species reported to fly in a rugged, zigzag trajectory, similar to co-occurring bees. The discovery has been published in Zootaxa
